Cortes de Cima

This wine shows complex aromas of grapefruit, jasmine and lime. It reveals an intense, elegant palate with crisp fruit, a refreshing minerality, and pleasing acidity.

Wine Spectator

Mineral and spice flavors are well-focused in this medium-bodied, fruity white, which features baked apple and pear tart elements lingering on the finish, with a note of apricot. Drink now. 8,190 cases made.

Score: 87. —Kim Marcus, June 30, 2011.

Wine Enthusiast

A blend of four grapes, including Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier, the white Chaminé has a full feel to it. An open oily texture also preserves herbaceous crispness and a final burst of acidity.

Score: 86. —Roger Voss, August 01, 2011.

Wine Advocate

The 2010 CHAMINE white, tasted a few months after bottling (November, 2010) is light and bright, with a touch of fresh lemon-lime on the finish and a little herbaceousness. Drunk well chilled, it is a refreshing and invigorating wine that should make a tasty summer treat. It won’t hold at peak long; drink it young and fresh. Drink now-2012.

Score: 85. —Mark Squires, February 2011.
