Unscheduled Free Tastings at Suburban
Saturday Tastings happen every Saturday that there is not an Event (which is a tasting of lots & lots & lots of wines). Approximately 10 wines will be tasted with a 20% discount on all.
Grand In-Store Free Tasting Events
All tasting events listed in this section are free of charge and all wines poured, as well as all other wines in the store from that same category (and not already on sale), can be purchased at a 20% savings. On our Semi-annual Wine & Food Expos, all still wines in the store (375ml, 750ml and 1.5L) are discounted 20%.
Here are a few suggestions if you will be attending one of these events - bring your own glass to increase your ability to assess the wines, and please refrain from wearing cologne or perfume, in order to increase others’ ability to assess. Also, for high-end customers, we often hold a special gems sampling in “the backroom.

Our newly-expanded South African wine section is ready to spread its wings. Taste our latest finds in Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinotage and more.

These are the wines that need no introduction. The vinous pride of America is clearly California. So it didn't take much to find an excuse to create yet another blockbuster tasting of our many West Coast wonders.

This concept has been a long time in the works. It is a chance to discover the range of world-class wines that come in tall green bottles.....expect entries from Germany, Alsace, Italy & Austria, plus a few sleepers like Txokoli, Picpoul de Pinet and some surprises!

The New York Wine Expo
This tasting is so big that it earned the distinguishing name Expo. Numerous producers from Long Island, The Hudson Valley and The Finger Lakes will show you why New York State has earned its secure place on the wine map.

We'll pull out all of our hottest dry pink wines, for the season during which they become so appetizing. Get ready to think pink!

Tequila Tasting

Once again a beautiful lineup of tequilas and hopefully some great mescals will be tasted. Distillery reps may be on site to discuss the history, process and overall mystique of the tequila industry. This will be a very informative and tasty experience.
Mex-to-Go will provide delicious regional cuisine to enhance the overall experience.
