When we first tasted the charanda, it reminded us of a rhum Agricole or Jamaican Overproof Rum thanks to its prominent heat and hogo funk. But the underlying big fruit flavor-like “exploding, overripe pineapples”-masks the esters and any potential harshness. This is a perfect mixing spirit substitute for Tiki Drinks and Daiquiris.
