Laird's Applejack is a specialty product - a blend of 35% Apple Brandy and 65% Neutral Spirits that possesses a hint of apple flavor and aroma. Laird's AppleJack has excellent mixability. It imparts a delightful flavor to the traditional cocktails such as the Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Sour and Daiquiri. It also mixes well with any mixer -- club soda, 7-Up, fruit juices, et cetera. Only carefully selected, whole, tree-ripened apples can be used in the making of Laird's Applejack. Many varieties of apples are used, including Jonathans, Winesaps, Stamens, Pippens, and Delicious apples. Applejack is made at the peak of the apple harvest, in early September to mid-November, and this insures that the quality and sweetness of the apples are at their peak.
