"EL LLANO" is one of the oldest distillery's in the region that still produces tequila. It is located in the heart of the magical town Tequila. It is operated by the Orendain Brothers, descendents of one of the most recognized families in the tequila Industry. Arette was a famous horse that won the gold medal in the 1948 London Olympics in Equestrian Jumping. Ridden by General Humberto Mariles, together they became the only double gold medal winners in this discipline. Like Arette, the Tequila is made with the same passion and strength, making Tequila Arette the "Premium of Tequilas". El Llano distillery operates in the original building where the Orendain family history of Tequila production began in the early 1900s. El Llano was rebuilt in 1978 and today's Arette Tequila was created in 1986. Arette Tequila is only made from 100% Estate Agave. The Orendain brothers have always prioritized quality over quantity?they follow their grandfather?s footsteps by preserving the original artisanal practices and continue the family legacy of the highest quality Tequila. Tasting Note: Features baked agave, floral and honey notes with a hint of black pepper. It has all the characteristics of a lowland tequila: mineral; citrus; salt and herbs. Opening flavor is robust and then becomes a clean and crisp tequila complementing a wide variety of foods. It is best served slightly chilled.
