Tom Krawetz's 2023 Wine of the Year
This garnet red wine has an inviting nose of baked red cherries, cranberries, dried orange peel, warm exotic spices, and tilled earth. The palate starts off soft with baked red berries and citrus touches then smoked meat and coffee notes pop through the minerality. Followed by bright acidity and fine-grained tannins leaving lingering notes of cranberry sauce on the finish.
